The CIVIS Euro-African LaCoTT Laboratory (Languages, Communication, Translation & Technologies) is an international academic collaboration space developed within the framework of the CIVIS Alliance, bringing together European and African universities around issues related to languages, communication, translation, localisation, and digital technologies.

The laboratory develops interdisciplinary projects based on scientific innovation, collaborative research, university teaching, and civic engagement, fostering the co-creation of multilingual digital solutions for the benefit of society.

Through CIVIS initiatives, LaCoTT promotes transnational cooperation between academics, students, associations, and institutional partners in order to encourage inclusion, digital accessibility, linguistic diversity, and knowledge transfer between Europe and Africa.
